Back in the day, many people had to ride their bikes in the snow uphill both ways if they wanted to get somewhere. Nowadays, you'll be able to ride downhill both ways. The Ibis OSO GX 20mph e-Bike is an enduro and all-mountain e-bike that is ready to take on any adventure. It has a carbon frame that uses 170mm of travel on the front and 155mm of travel on the rear. The OSO uses 27.5/29" wheels on the small and medium sizes and 29" wheels on the large and extra large sizes. The frame features internal cable routing, DW-Link suspension on the rear, integrated frame protection, a chain guide, and lights on the front and back. With the Bosch Performance Line CX motor and Bosch Powertube 750Wh battery, you'll get up to 20mph of pedal assistance so you can conquer any mountain.
The GX version of the Ibis OSO comes with a SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain. This includes a cassette that has a hill-crushing 10-52T gear range that makes climbing and pedaling through difficult terrain much easier. Shimano XT M8120 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes provide superior stopping power so you can descend with confidence. Blackbird Send I/Send II rims are paired with Maxxis Assegai and Dissector tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the Bike Yoke Revive Dropper Post, you'll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle with the press of a lever.

We get a lot of questions about e-bikes, especially the Orbea Rise, so we figured we’d throw up a quick long-term review of one from one of the employees here at Jenson, Alex. Alex lives up in the mountains here in Southern California and has to do a fair bit of climbing and pedaling around at his local trail system to get to trails. Because he is in such high elevation, oxygen levels are different and make it a bit more difficult to breathe. This alone made it hard for him to enjoy long rides, especially when temperatures drop and snow season arrives.
Buying a new bike is often one of the most exciting purchases you will make in a given year. That said, it can also come with a little stress given the myriad of additional gear you'll need to consider to maximize your fun and safety on the trail. From helmets, to pedals, to knee pads and pretty much everything else you can imagine, we've got the gear you need in our warehouses available and ready to ship. In the following list, we'll run through the top items to consider picking up along side your new bike purchase. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to one of our Gear Advisor pros for assistance.

The Ibis Oso is full of forward-thinking technology for any rider out there looking to get on an e-bike to squeeze out as many miles as they can handle.
E-bikes can greatly boost your ride potential and allow you to take on all types of trails and rides you never would have been able to do on a traditional bike. However, with the added capability comes a more complex bike, higher costs, and the need to preform rigorous maintenance to keep it running at its best. In this article, we discuss what it takes to keep your E-bike ready to hit the trails or roads and why keeping up with this maintenance is important for the longevity and performance of your new two-wheeled machine.
